4. There is a real lack of postmodern critique of society, an understanding of inequality and the financial institutions that exploit those in poverty.
5. There is a paucity of philosophy of science and philosophy of medicine. Where it does exist, it is focused on deconstructing, rather than creating solutions. There is still a pervading belief of the objectivity of science, which is unthinkable to most philosophers who recognise the role finance plays in creating, governing and selling medical science.
